The Jack Tars are performing charity concert at Longwood Mechanics Hall and tickets are available now

The Jack Tars, a Yorkshire-based folk band, will be performing at Longwood Mechanics Hall as part of Longwood Sing’s 150^th anniversary celebrations.

Tickets are now on sale for the event which takes place on Saturday September 9 at 7pm. There will be a bar and tea and coffee and doors will open at 6.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 each with no booking fee and proceeds from the concert will be shared by the two Huddersfield hospices, The Kirkwood and the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

Payment is by cash or bank transfer and tickets can be delivered if local, posted or collected on the door on the night.

Tickets will also be sold at the next Longwood Village Group coffee morning at Longwood Mechanics Hall on Saturday August 5 (10am-12noon).
