Huddersfield BID are bringing a spectacular Christmas story to families in Huddersfield town centre over the next four nights.
‘The Penguin Elf’ projection show, which will aim to promote festive spirit around town, is just one of the BID’s exciting planned events in the run up to the Christmas period.
Visitors will be able to watch the story – which will tell the tale of a penguin’s mischievous adventures at Christmas time – projected onto town centre buildings.
The show will be screened on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (5.30pm-8.30pm) in Market Place.
It will be free for all those that wish to attend, keeping with the BID’s objectives to make Huddersfield as accessible as possible
Huddersfield BID manager Sam Sharp said: “We hope that the Penguin Elf event will bring a little Christmas cheer to the town and bring together visitors and businesses within the zone to celebrate the season.
“The Penguin Elf is a heart-warming family event, which will be enjoyed by all ages and will bring something different to the town and will promote the vibrancy of Huddersfield.
“The event will run for four nights, giving everyone a chance to visit this free family event, which Huddersfield BID are excited to bring to the town.”
You can watch ‘the Penguin Elf’ projection show from Wednesday November 24 to Saturday November 27 at Market Place, Huddersfield. For more information visit www.huddersfieldbid.co.uk.
