An event organiser and promoter is using his passion for rave music to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health.

A charity rave weekend is to be held at the BASSment Studios in Huddersfield with all proceeds going to Andy’s Man Club, the men’s mental health charity.

The double weekender is organised by Mr Rave – aka Jack Bairstow – and takes place on Friday and Saturday November 25 and 26. Tickets for both events are on sale now.

The Saturday night is a purely trance night which features big name DJs Signum and Lost Witness with support from Ricky Denton, Pete Bromage and Jordan Drape.

Tickets cost £20 and the event runs from 10pm-4am.

On the Sunday it’s a bass night featuring Bassline and Drum&Bass and the headline DJs Shaun Dean and DJ Smallz are local to Huddersfield. Tickets are £12 and the event also runs from 10pm-4am.

Mr Rave said: “The trance night features music from the late 90s and early 2000s while the bass night is aimed at a younger crowd but music has no age barrier and everyone is welcome to both events.

“Why Andy’s Man Club? I first heard about these guys from a friend and they do incredible work in breaking down the sigma surrounding men’s mental health, encouraging men to open up about issues that are preying on their mind.

“I’ve personally lost friends and family through there not being enough resources available to help people and that’s why I’m so passionate about wanting to get the word out in my own way following my passion for raving.”

BASSment Studios is in St Thomas’ Road, Huddersfield, HD1 3LG, and tickets can be booked via the QR codes on the flyers below.
