Dan Hallett has become a non-executive board member of Huddersfield-based Big Red Industries Group.

Dan’s role will be to lead the strategic development and expansion of Big Red’s market share within the construction sector, and will work closely with Big Red CEO Mike Lomas and additional board member Rob Kelly.

Dan has a wealth of experience from working with some of largest globally recognised brands for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, beauty and consumer healthcare.

He is renowned for his reputation of driving cultural change in many organisations and delivering significant growth in business sales and gross margin improvement.

With over 20 years of industry experience working across a broad spectrum of sectors in over 66 countries, Dan has continuously expanded and advanced his career, and currently holds degrees in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering and Technology Management.

Dan has held prestigious roles at Reckitts Benckiser, firstly as supply director before becoming senior vice president for health and personal hygiene and was divisional vice president at Abbott Pharmaceuticals, before recently becoming chief operating officer for Bayer Consumer Health.
