Staff at Huddersfield-based digital printers Aura Print are taking on a ‘monster’ challenge for a great cause.

A group of workmates will head to Scotland to row across Loch Ness – 54 miles across and back – in support of The Howarth Foundation, a Cleckheaton-based charity which helps homeless people get back into work and rebuild their lives.

The fundraising event – Paddle for a Purpose – will take place on June 24 and 25 2023 with all proceeds going to the charity.

The Howarth Foundation provides mental health support, medical expenses, household necessities and occasional financial support to cover living expenses until clients receive their first salary.

The charity also offers training courses and support for travel, meals and clothing expenses, all aimed at helping homeless people get back on their feet.

As a Business Building Futures member of The Howarth Foundation, Aura Print has supported the charity for many years and hopes businesses and individuals will support their big row.

There are three different sponsorship packages available for businesses looking to show their support, with information available at https://aura-print.com/uk/blog/post/paddle-for-a-purpose

Zoey Robins, marketing and content executive at Aura Print, said: “We are delighted to be able to support The Howarth Foundation through this exciting challenge.

“The work that the charity does to support the homeless community in West Yorkshire is incredibly important, and we want to help them provide a private sector solution to this public sector problem in any way we can.”
