Kirklees Council has launched a new membership scheme for its town halls.

There are five membership options, ranging from Student to Professional – with a VIP option and the chance to go behind the scenes.

There’s an exciting spring-summer season planned with tribute acts such as Everything Changes: Take That Tribute Show, 50 Years of Pink Floyd and Hometown Glory: A Tribute to Adele at Huddersfield Town Hall.

Then there’s classical music with such as Hummel in the House by Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra and a performance on the sitar by Opera North’s artist-in-residence Jasdeep Singh Degun as part of Kirklees Concert Season at Dewsbury Town Hall.

There’s also dance, stand-up comedy and choir music.

The new membership scheme has three paid-for and two free options to choose from, each offering subscribers a wealth of benefits while supporting the Town Halls.

The two free membership options, Subscriber and Student Subscriber, allow members to stay connected with regular updates from the Town Halls. The Student Subscriber membership also offers exclusive discounts tailored just for students.

The paid-for membership options start at £30 per year and include Priority, Priority + and Professional Membership.

Each one offers priority booking, exclusive discounts and invitations to events, as well as regular updates on upcoming events.

The Priority + membership includes additional benefits, such as an opportunity for members to get behind the scenes as they explore Huddersfield or Dewsbury Town Hall with a free tour, plus the option to indulge in one free VIP table per year.

In addition to the Priority + membership benefits, Professional Members receive a named thank you in one of the Town Halls What’s On Guides, and unlock priority booking on meeting room packages as well as the annual Christmas parties.
