Huddersfield Giants have released their 2021 season card prices with chairman Ken Davy saying in a letter to supporters that the good times could be about to return.

The Giants have slashed season card prices again and want to fill the stands at the John Smith’s Stadium – if and when Covid restrictions allow, of course.

The club has announced some cut price season ticket deals. It’s just £99 per adult over 30 and £50 for those under 30. Fans who buy a season ticket will have priority access in to the John Smith’s Stadium when Coronavirus restrictions are lifted, which could be around the May 17 date announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

With the Super League season set to start on March 28 the club is hoping for bumper sales of season cards for what should be a competitive campaign.

In a letter to Giants fans, Mr Davy said: ”The start of the new Betfred Super League season is only a few weeks away, and the excitement at the Giants is growing by the day. I am therefore writing to ask for your support which will be critical to our future success.

“We are incredibly excited about our opportunities to bring silverware back to the Giants, which is an excitement and optimism that I hope you share. We have obviously delayed the sale of the season cards until now, because, as well as being excited, we wanted you to be confident about the start of the new season.

“As a 2021 season card holder, you will have priority access as soon as the stadium is reopened and, in the meantime, will be able to view free of charge ALL home and away games that are played behind closed doors online, via the Our League system which was utilised so successfully last year.

“Your support for this year’s season cards is absolutely critical to our aspirations and survival. We should all be in no doubt that the finances of the Giants continue to be very difficult and in making our season cards available for just £99 per adult and £50 for the under 30s we sincerely hope that our supporter numbers increase significantly.

“I hope this will gain your support which is of the utmost importance. Together I firmly believe we can achieve our goals of silverware.”

Speaking about new head coach, Ian Watson Mr Davy added: “Ian has experienced both Wembley and Old Trafford and chose the Huddersfield Giants as his opportunity to not only get to these great events again, but to win at them.

“To this end, he has built on our existing strengths, adding new players with international quality and winning mentalities to our established squad, which includes our exciting younger players who are now a year older, stronger and more experienced.

“In short, I believe Ian Watson has built a strong and exciting Giants squad of which you can be justly proud, and one that we all look forward to seeing in action.”
