It’ll be festive fun all the way as a Mirfield school stages its Winter Fair to kick off the festive season.
Old Bank Academy in Taylor Hall Lane, Mirfield, part of the Huddersfield-based Impact Education Multi-Academy Trust, will have Marsh Ladies Choir to top the bill.
The fair takes place on Saturday November 26 from 12noon to 3pm. Entry is £1 for adults and free for children.
As it’s the World Cup, there’s a footballing flavour too as former Bradford City and Newcastle United star Des Hamilton goes in the net for a Beat the Goalie competition.
Other attractions include pop-up stalls from Nat’s Quirky Melts, Charming Times and Handmade by Sarah. There’ll be splat the rat, a teddy tombola, face-painting, hook-a-duck, raffles, a cake stall and more.
