Golcar United hope a special offer could see the club smash its attendance record.
It’s Non-League Day on Saturday March 25 when there’s an international break and no Premier League or Championship football.
With football fans at a loose end, Non-League Day encourages people to support their local grassroots club.
Golcar have slashed ticket prices to just £1 for the game against Knaresborough Town at the Skye Direct Stadium and hope they could attract a record crowd.
Club secretary Ben Senior said: “We are wanting as many people as possible to come down to the stadium on Non-League Day.
“Our biggest ever crowd was last season against Bury which was just over 1,200. We want to beat that by putting on this terrific offer.”
Tickets are normally £6 for adults and £4 concessions but on Non-League Day it’ll be £1 for anyone and Ben added: “We think it’s an amazing deal to come and be part of our club, take in a match and enjoy an afternoon out for just £1. What could be better?”

Golcar have been on a good run of form lately and haven’t lost a league game this year. They won their last fixture against Eccleshill 1-0 with a goal from Slater Barnes.
The former Huddersfield District League player says the Weavers are now pushing up the table having turned their early season struggles around.
He said: “Yes, our form has picked up and we are now starting to look up the table and get into the top 10 which I think we can achieve if we keep pushing and keep playing well.
“We have been quite unlucky in some games and I think we could have got more points out of some of them. But we have re-grouped and are now playing really well as a team.
“The aim for the rest of the season is to get into that top 10. It’s our first season in this league so just to stay in the league is a big achievement.”
Barnes joined at the beginning of this season and already has eight goals to his name. The pacy forward says he’s happy with his performances and added: “It felt good to get on the scoresheet but, most importantly, we had to get the three points as it now moves us up the table.
“As a team we played really well all over the pitch and we put our bodies on the line to make sure we kept another clean sheet and keep this momentum going.”
Golcar take on Silsden at the Skye Direct Stadium on Saturday (February 18) and Barnes said: “We need to keep this momentum going and I think we can get another three points.
“I have now scored eight goals this season and I’m just enjoying playing and helping the team where I can as it’s my first season at this level. I am really enjoying my football at the moment and that’s thanks to the lads and management team.”
Barnes said the Non-League Day offer for the fans was a fantastic one and he’d love to see a bumper crowd.
“It’s great that the club are doing the £1 offer and hopefully we’ll get a big crowd at that game because the fans are like our 12th man,” he said.
“They never stop singing and shouting and that gives us a lift so it’s really important that we can give the fans a cheaper price for that game and hopefully get the three points for them.”
