Oliver Willitts scored a hat-trick in Holmbridge’s 3-0 win over Dalton Dynamos to keep up the pressure on Division 1 leaders Newsome.

Newsome remain top on goal difference after a 4-2 win over Skelmanthorpe at Cross Lane with goals from Deon Simmonds (two), Ryan Fisher and Devonte Gayle. James Chiodo and Daniel Simpson scored for the hosts.

Linthwaite Athletic beat Fothergill and Whittles 5-4 and AFC Lindley won 5-1 at Shepley with goals from Luke Hughes, Tom White (two), Danny Wright and Jonathan Krishnapillal. Danny Glover scored a consolation for Shepley.

Deighton are seven points clear at the top of Division 2 following their hard fought 2-1 win over Diggle with goals from Ben Stott and Jamal Simpson with Jack Marland scoring for Diggle.

Jonathan Butterfield and Henry Philpott (three) scored for Kirkburton as they beat Lepton Highlanders 4-0 and Jason Evans hit five as Moorside beat Scissett 6-3.

Joe Senior, Harry Brook and Alex Spivey (two) scored as Cumberworth just edged out Almondbury Woolpack 4-3. Kyle Hardaker and Chris Melotte (two) scoring for the Woolpack.

Division 3 leaders Meltham Athletic slumped to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Honley despite being 2-0 up after 15 minutes. Jake Wood and James Knowles scored for Meltham early in the first half before Owen Dallagher pulled one back for Honley before half-time. Honley then took control in the second half to run out 3-2 winners with goals from Sean Clegg and Joe Burnley.

Shaun Roscoe (two) and Joel Longmore scored as Saddleworth United won 3-0 at Hade Edge to stay second.

Joe Dunrod and Kyle Andrews scored as Holmfirth Town drew 2-2 with Mount whilst Wooldale Wanderers drew 3-3 with Fenton United with goals from Eli Bell, Leon Cliffe and Josh Goodwin.

Cameron Wilkey hit a hat-trick as Grange Moor Saints beat Marsden 5-3 with Seth Quesne and Josh Adams also scoring for the Saints.

In reserve Division 1, James Gilling-Kelly and Dylan Letremy scored for AFC Lindley in their 2-2 draw with Cumberworth whose goals were scored by George Haigh and Jack Schofield.

Berry Brow beat Britannia Sports 2-0 with goals from Rhys Wharam and Dale Neary. Ryan Buckley scored a brace as Newsome drew 2-2 with Deighton.

Holmbridge went six points clear at the top of reserve Division 2 with a 10-0 thumping of Cumberworth A. Meltham Athletic with a goal from Jonny Morgan stay second after a 1-1 draw with Berry Brow A. Liam Walton scored for the Brow.

Slaithwaite United took the spoils in their Colne Valley derby with Linthwaite Athletic A in a 4-2 win. Jordan Cropper, Hakan Daibal (two) and Tony Chintu-Wamala scoring for Slawit.

A Felix Beaumont hat-trick was not enough as Brook Motors narrowly lost to Grange Moor Saints 4-3. Scorers for the Saints were Bailey Roy (two), Jordan Wells and Elijah Roy.

Hardeep Singh, Leigh Miller and Tyresse Wilson scored as Dalton Dynamos thirds moved up to third in reserve Division 3 following their 3-2 win over Wooldale Wanderers. Luke Heavens and Lee Revitt scored for the Wanderers.

Kirkheaton Rovers remain second after their 2-2 draw with Diggle. Bradley Broadbent and Matthew Stephenson scored for Yetton with Sam Carr and Lewis Haigh scoring for Diggle. Peter Odogwu scored a hat-trick as Almondbury Woolpack beat Cumberworth B 3-0.

Brook Motors Development with goals from Max Phillips and a hat-trick from Josh Armitage moved up to fifth in a 4-1 win over Berry Brow B. Luke Martin scored a consolation for the Brow.

Hade Edge Development beat Mount 5-0 with goals from Eddie Dalton, Andrew Daisey, Frank Johnson, Michael Maby and Jordan Taylor.

In the West Riding County Cup competitions there were mixed results for our clubs. Dalton Dynamos Reserves lost 4-0 to Yorkshire Amateur League side Middleton Reserves and Britannia Sports lost to another Yorkshire Amateur league side Leeds Medics 8-2.

AFC Volunteers lost 2-1 to West Yorkshire League side Oxenhope Rec and Brighouse Athletic lost 6-1 to Beeston St Anthony’s also from the West Yorkshire League.

Linthwaite Athletic Reserves travelled to Halifax District League side Icon Athletic and won 2-1 with goals from Chris Blakeley and Nathan Kavanagh. Huddersfield Laund Hill beat Halifax District League side Shelf Juniors 3-1.

Kirkheaton Rovers with goals from Nathan Goddard (two) and Jacob Buchanan beat York Minister League side Tadcaster Magnets 3-0. Holme Valley Academicals made the long trek up to Craven and District League side Salts FC and a Joe Kenworthy goal saw them through in a 1-0 win.

Netherton were good value for money with goals from Alfie Brown, Joel Denton (two), Adam Lightowlers (two) and Alex Vickerman (two) in a fine 7-0 win over Craven League side Bingley Town.

Kyle Walton, Luke Gibson (two) and Thomas Oakes scored for Berry Brow as they beat a strong West Yorkshire League Premier division side Silsden 4-2.
