Slaithwaite-based strategic and creative brand agency SMITH has recently expanded with the addition of three new members of staff. They are senior developers Joey Wright and James Bentley and senior designer Luigi Amitrano.

This has increased the SMITH team by 43%, from seven team members to 10 and there is excitement about the new skills, creativity and enthusiasm that the new team members bring.

Joey and James both bring a wealth of technical expertise, including experience in various programming languages and frameworks.

Their experience will be invaluable in developing complex software solutions for SMITH’S clients, ensuring that they can deliver high-quality products to tight deadlines.

Luigi is a highly-creative individual with a keen eye for detail. He has experience in designing brand identities, packaging and creative campaigns for clients such as ASDA, The Hut Group, MEXX and WKD.

His skills will be essential in ensuring that SMITH continues to deliver beautiful and functional designs that exceed their clients’ expectations.

SMITH creative director Oli Smith said: “We are delighted to have Joey, James and Luigi join the team. Three senior hires mean we’re able to add a lot more value to our clients, and have more clout in helping tackle complex business challenges.

“Joey, James and Luigi are joining at a very positive stage of the business. Our business is a people business, and we’ve got three really good people to help take us to the next stage.”

The three new hires come at a point where SMITH has won several key accounts throughout the UK. From a private equity-backed construction business in Scotland, two privately-owned home builders, to an asset management company managing £4 billion in assets.
