It’s a pub quiz with a difference and it starts at the Showtime bar in Huddersfield town centre tonight (Wednesday September 13).
The Pub Quiz with a Difference has six rounds of 10 questions. Each round has a theme and there are prizes to be won all night.
The quiz will begin from 8pm and finishes around 10pm including breaks.
The quiz is hosted by bar owner Adam Snowball and general manager Robert Sutcliffe – and the duo reckon the questions will test even the most ardent quizzers.
Adam said: “We’ve put together a unique pub challenge for all – whether you are someone who enjoys a relaxed pub quiz for fun or are a serious player, Showtime has the answer.”
Showtime, based in Zetland Street, has big plans for the future and Adam added: “These are exciting times for Showtime.
“We will be going big when it comes to Oktoberfest – the world’s biggest beer festival – which starts on Saturday September 16 and lasts until October 3.
“We will be doing our own version with homemade sausages, bunting, music as well as selling steins of Lowenbrau beer brewed in Munich where the festival takes place and attracts a staggering six million people to the city.”
