Emley AFC are hosting a cup game under the floodlights for two of their partner clubs.
The Huddersfield FA Cup tie between Shepley and Newsome will be played at the Fantastic Media Welfare Ground on Thursday November 16 (7.45).
Newsome recently joined Shepley as club partners to Emley so this was the first opportunity for them to benefit from the new link up.
Shepley took on Skelmanthorpe under the floodlights last October and Emley AFC vice-chairman Marcus Pound said: “The last time we hosted a game between two club partners we had over 250 spectators so the interest and appetite for these one-off events is there.
“It will be another great occasion and it’s a great experience for the two teams and their supporters. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone connected to both clubs to Emley.”
Gates open at 6pm with free entry for all. The Sports Bar and Dugout Diner will both be open for food and drinks also from 6pm.
