Huddersfield Giants Women have a new shirt sponsor – Planet Sport.
The partnership comes as part of a package of branding and hospitality for both the men’s and women’s fixtures in 2024.
Planet Sport is a big supporter of rugby league. The sport media network’s titles Love Rugby League and Planetsport.com are long-standing and well-respected outlets that cover the sport’s latest news, live scores and betting tips.
Commenting on the new partnership, Planet Sport CEO Barrie Jarrett said: “As existing sponsors of women’s rugby league, myself and the team at Planet Sport are incredibly excited about being lead sponsor of Huddersfield Giants Women.
“We’ve been following the impressive strides Giants Women have been making since their inception just five years ago. The club are clearly seeking to be at the forefront of women’s rugby league and have strong ambitions to be competing with the best in the league this season. We’re delighted to be playing a part in their journey.”
In the run-up to the start of the season, the club has been busy developing their squad and focused on signing a raft of talented players such as half-back Sam Hulme and second-rower Kacy Haley.
