In one of the few Huddersfield District League matches to escape the weather Oliver Mansell-Taylor hit a hat-trick as Honley beat Kirkburton 6-2 in Division 1.

Joe Kelly grabbed a brace with Callum Aspland also on the scoresheet. Joseph Lockwood scored both goals for Burton.

Ryan Burchael scored the only goal of the game for Netherton A in their Division 4 clash with Holme Valley Academicals Reserves.

In Division 5 the top of the table clash between Deighton A and Allerton ended up with the points shared in a 4-4 draw.

Umais Khan and Mustafa Zeb scored two each for Allerton with Martin Hirst and Dareece Siddique also scoring a brace each for Deighton.

Allerton are up to second place after the draw whilst Deighton dropped points for the first time this season. Deighton remain eight points clear at the top of the division.

Honley Reserves moved up to sixth in the division following their 4-3 win over Mount Reserves. Scorers for Mount were George Fox and Baron and Tristan Samuda. Terry Murphy, Michael Roebuck, James Coates and Tom Booth scored for Honley.

In the League there remains only two teams with 100% records. Linthwaite Athletic have played and won eight in the Premier Division and Kirkheaton Rovers Reserves have also played and won eight in Division 4.

Mohammed Ibrahim from Allerton leads the league’s goal scoring charts with 21 from 12 appearances. His strike partner Umais Khan is second with 19 from 13 appearances.

Kyle Walton from Berry Brow has 18 from 12 appearances and Josh Armitage from Brook Motors also has 18 from 14 appearances.
