Huddersfield Wind Band and the Yorkshire Imperial Brass Band will perform together in a spectacular concert not to be missed.
The massed band concert will be held at Salendine Nook Baptist Church on Saturday March 23 (7pm).
Yorkshire Imperial Band, under the direction of Garry Hallas, recently secured first place at the Yorkshire Area Championship.
In addition to coming first in the competition, the band also received an invitation to represent Yorkshire in the national finals.
The band had more reason to celebrate as Rob Batty won the best soprano cornet player prize.
Following the success of receiving a platinum award at the regional National Concert Band Festival, Huddersfield Wind Band will perform under the musical direction of John Turnbull at the National event in Warwick’s Great Hall on Saturday March 16.
