Libraries in Kirklees are opening on a phased basis from Monday April 12 for safe book borrowing and IT sessions.
Huddersfield Library and Meltham Library will offer a Ring and Read service from April 12.
Ring Kirklees libraries on 01484 414868 to order a selection of books. Staff will collect the books and have them ready for borrowers to collect at a pre-arranged time.
Anyone wanting to use computers and IT in libraries can book a 45-minute slot, which allows for cleaning between sessions. Ring 01484 414868.

Visitors will be asked to provide contact details for Test and Trace and must also wear a face covering. Due to limited capacity people may be asked to queue outside.
Any books returned must be placed in green waste bins marked with Kirklees Libraries stickers. Items should not be removed from these bins.
Batley and Ravensthorpe (Greenwood Centre) libraries will remain closed as both are being used as Covid testing centres.
Denby Dale, Kirkburton, Mirfield, Birstall and Cleckheaton libraries are being used as polling stations for the local elections on May 6 so won’t re-open until after the elections.
