The final match was the closest and most engaging match to watch. A topsy turvy encounter with Dan Lawton having the most stamina in the 5th game to hold on for a great win.
Up until then it had been an even match with the Skelmanthorpe player just missing out on the first game when he had a chance to take the first game at 9-10.
The next 3 games were again tight games with rallies often being over 40 shots long. The 5th and final game was a shorter affair as tiredness finally got the better of the Skelmanthorpe player and Lawton won overall 3-2.

HTLSC now sit in second place in the league but Queens in third position do have a game in hand.
