The Huddersfield and District Football League is to hold a lunch to celebrate its 125th anniversary.
The event will be held on Sunday December 10 2023 at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield.
A similar occasion in 1998 at the same venue marked the league’s centenary.
The two-course lunch will be £22.50 per head with a £5 deposit to be paid by May 31 2023, along with the names and numbers of those wishing to attend. The deposit payment date is to secure the limited seating at the stadium. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Guests at the lunch will be entertained by guest speaker Mike Riley, a well-known former Football League referee and, more recently, head of PGMOL for 13 years.
