Huddersfield Choral Society’s summer concert this weekend will celebrate the movies.

Alongside Black Dyke Brass Band, the choir will be celebrating the magic of the movies and the West End with hits from Les Miserables, Pirates of the Caribbean, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Harry Potter.

The audience will also be treated to some of the most uplifting music from the choral world including Zadok the Priest and Handel’s Hallelujah. The society promises a magical evening not to be missed.

The concert – Pure Imagination: Music for Choir and Brass – is held on Sunday June 23 (7.15pm) at Huddersfield Town Hall. Tickets are from £15.
