A Huddersfield marketing agency has designed new branding and a new look website for Kirklees One Community Foundation.
The foundation encourages local philanthropy and distributes funds to a growing network of more than 2,500 Kirklees charities and community organisations.
The team at The SHARP Agency, based at Bates Mill in Huddersfield, was tasked with helping increase the number of donors supporting the foundation’s charitable work.
To do that the team at The SHARP Agency went back to basics to understand the ‘one thing’ which defines One Community. That was “they put money where it matters in Kirklees.”
Richard Sharp, founder and creative director at The SHARP Agency, said the team loved the challenge and added: “We are proudly Yorkshire. Kirklees is our home. So, when One Community came to us we knew we had to help.
“One Community is an amazing organisation so to be able to help them define their brand, identity and key messaging has been an important project.
“Bringing the brand to life in a new website design to ensure they continue to grow and help others has been immensely rewarding.”
The team at SHARP looked at One Community’s proposition, copy and branding to produce something distinctive, ownable and compelling. A new logo was created and a website designed by SHARP was built by Denby Dale-based Beanie Media.
Richard added: “It’s not every day that you get to make a real difference but it’s why we do what we do. We’re here to find and free the good in every brand and, with a brand like One Community, there’s a lot to go around.”
Emma Woods-Bolger, CEO at One Community, said: “Working with the team at SHARP has been a great experience. They enabled everyone in the team to be part of the process and we all now have a sense of ownership of the brand. It feels authentically us.
“We’ve learned so much from them. It’s been more than a rebrand, it’s been a sharing of knowledge. Importantly for us, they matched our passion for the work we do, helping us to create a brand we are all incredibly proud of.
“We are now excited to get out there and share it with people who want to put money where it matters in Kirklees.”
