Honley Ladies Choir have organised a fundraising concert at very short notice to help the people of Ukraine fleeing conflict.
The choir is holding the Honley Helps emergency concert at St Paul’s Church, Armitage Bridge, on Thursday March 10 at 7.30pm.
A choir spokesman said: “We are appalled by what is happening in the Ukraine. We want to help.
“HLC is supporting the Teams4u charity who are sending aid to those fleeing the conflict. £7.50 buys food for one household for a week. £7.50 buys a ticket for our concert.
“Come and enjoy a reprise of our Mrs Sunderland performance and do what YOU can to help.”
