A gift shop in Lindley is to celebrate its 20th anniversary by raising money for charity.

GIFT in Lidget Street, Lindley, was bought by Rebecca Scargill in 2010 after working as a manager there and has gone from strength to strength.

The shop, which sells a range of unique gifts and greetings cards, is a mainstay of the village and Rebecca wants to thank the community for its support for the last 20 years.

Mum-of-two Rebecca said: “Even after 20 years, I still love walking through the door and seeing my beautiful shop. We have such lovely customers.”

To celebrate the 20-year milestone, GIFT is holding a raffle to raise money for the Huddersfield-based Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, a cause chosen by customers.

Tickets cost £1 each and there will be 20 gifts as prizes. All the details can be found on GIFT’s social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
