A specialist architectural practice has won the Eaton Smith Solicitors Business of the Year Award for 2024.

Huddersfield-based France & Associates provides exclusive services to people with disabilities who need home improvements.

The firm was started by Jonathan France who saw an opportunity to provide specialist services. The company now operates on a national basis.

France & Associates was one of the 12 Business of the Month winners which went forward into the final for the annual award.

More than 150 people gathered at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday when the top three companies were announced.

The awards celebrate the hard work, brilliance and innovation of businesses throughout Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

In second place was Lockwood-based Wayland Additive, a high precision engineering company which sells 3D printing technology.

In third place was Cleckheaton-based Sam Teale Productions, a video production company founded by teenager Sam Teale in June 2020.

The other nominees for the Business of the Year Awards 2024 included Lu’s Place, Towndoor Ltd, Mark Flynn Photography, Aqualand Industries Ltd, Fusion IT Management Ltd, Majestic Site Management Ltd, Juice Personnel Ltd, EarthThings Florist Yorkshire Ltd and Hitchfields Ltd.
