Staff at family-run commercial property company Towndoor Ltd are proud and delighted to have been shortlisted at the first ever Connect Yorkshire Business Awards.
The Meltham-based company, run by managing director Dan Bamforth, has been shortlisted in the medium-sized business category.
The winners will be chosen by public vote and the awards ceremony will be held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on November 30.
All categories have been chosen at Connect Yorkshire’s discretion from their network of businesses, with the winners chosen by a panel of judges from their entrepreneurs-in-residence.
Towndoor Ltd was started by Dan’s late father Stuart and his mother Lucy in 1988 when they bought half of the sprawling former David Brown Tractors site at Meltham Mills. The company has grown significantly from there.
Executive director Jack Dixon said: “We are exceptionally honoured to have been shortlisted for medium business of the year at the first ever Connect Yorkshire Business Awards.
“Our team strives to always take pride in their work and relationships with clients as we understand that these are paramount above all else.
“Being shortlisted for this particular award is a testament to our company ethos and our entire team are proud of this.”
HR director Craig Capp added: “Towndoor have always been committed to providing an exceptional service to clients over the years and supplying both quality and affordable commercial property within West Yorkshire.
“I am immensely proud to be part of a well-established and family-run company who support and invest in an individual’s growth and development.
“Being shortlisted for this award shows that all that we do is recognised, and is especially exciting for all of our team.”
