In the Huddersfield FA Challenge Cup Heywood Irish Centre beat Brook Motors 9-3 with goals from Nathan Eastwood (five) Kieron Mayall (two), Thomas Helliwell and Nathan Mayall. Dylan Brett (two) and Phil Rigby scored for the home side.
A Daniel Gaskin brace for Diggle saw them through against Huddersfield LH in a 2-1 win. Fraser Hepplestone (three), Michael Dolan (two) and Oliver Ratcliffe were all on the scoresheet as Marsden Cuckoos won the Colne Valley derby 6-2 against Slaithwaite United whose goals came from Greg Bowers and Daniel Middleton.
Holmbridge travelled to Meltham and goals from Richard Lally (two) and Sean Hazelden saw them into the next round in a 3-2 win. Meltham’s goals came from Toby Farrington and Louis Carmody.
A goal from Trae Gabriel was not enough as Newsome went out at the first hurdle 4-1 at home to Britannia Sports whose goals were scored by Daniel Walker (three) and Jake Waterson.
Berry Brow won 2-1 away at Shelley with goals from Luke Gibson and Liam Dobson. Deighton entertained Dalton Dynamos at Northfield Hall and after 90 minutes the teams were level 1-1, however Deighton finally edged through to the next round 5-4 on penalties.
Yorkshire Amateur League side Golcar United Reserves beat Holme Valley Academicals 4 -1. Corey Lankovits scored the consolation goal for the Accies.
Lepton Highlanders also from the Yorkshire Amateur beat Cartworth Moor 6-0. Cumberworth travelled to Marsh United and goals from Aaron Moore and Luke Seatan saw them through to the next round in a 2-1 win.
Tom White hit four for AFC Lindley and goals from Jonny Crowther, Luke Gilman and Phabian Sylvester saw Lindley through in a 7-0 win at Mount.
In the Huddersfield FA Challenge Trophy Linthwaite Athletic A beat Britannia Sports A 6-2 whilst Dalton Dynamos Reserves lost 5-4 on penalties to AFC Lindley after a 1-1 draw on 90 minutes.
Cumberworth entertained Shepley and despite a goal from Elliott Stephenson for Cumberworth, Harry Brook scored for Shepley to send the games to penalties. Cumberworth won through after a marathon penalty kick competition 11-10.
Dalton Dynamos A beat Diggle Reserves 6-3 with Diggle’s goals coming from Charlie Hall, Jay Laurel and Jack Pickering.
Peter Jowett and Ashley Weatherhead were on target for Cumberworth Reserves in their 9-2 defeat at home to Newsome whose goals came from Carl David (two), Dean Wharam, Thomas Stockdale (two), James Knowles (three) and George Sommerville.
Goals from Richard Alderson, Richard Hinchliffe and a Jimmy Brothers hattrick sent Skelmanthorpe through in a 5-0 win at Holme Valley Academicals.
Netherton Reserves with goals from Ryan Burchael, Ellis Pejica (three), Charlie McLeod and Alex Vickerman went through in 7-2 over Deighton A, whose goals were scored by Vedad Omerbegovic and Martin Hirst.
Gabriel Cattell scored a consolation goal for Meltham as they lost 9-1 to Linthwaite Athletic Reserves.
Carlton Balmer (two), Luke Stead (three), Adam Lyons and Alan Elvidge all scored for Heywood Irish Centre Reserves in their 7-0 win over Scholes A.
A Joe Lockwood double was not enough for Kirkburton Reserves as they lost 5-2 to Berry Brow A, whose goals came from Stephen Njenga, Raymond Chingombe (three) and Luke McLoughlin.
In the Heavy Woollen FA Challenge Cup West End Park just edged past Driglington 3-2 and Wooldale Wanderers beat Bawtry Town in the Sheffield Junior Trophy 6-4. Scissett and Shepley both received walkovers into the next round of the Junior Trophy, but Kirkburton were knocked out by Athersley Rec 3-1.
Back in League action in division 1 Skelmanthorpe were held to a 0-0 draw by Fothergill & Whittles whilst Callum McLoughlin and a hattrick from George Jowett saw Scholes take the points in a 4-3 win over Linthwaite Athletic.
In division 2 Kirkheaton move up to second with goals from Nathan Goddard (two), Ben Hallitt, Oliver Martin and Nathan Ward in a 5-0 win over Lepton Highlanders.
In division four, AFC Volunteers are up to second with a brace each from Joel Poskitt and Anthony Wadsworth in their 4-1 win at Flockton whose scorer was Spencer Moorhouse.
Saddleworth United are up to third beating fourth placed Brighouse Athletic 3-2 with goals from Andrew Cooney, Joel Longmore and Michael Cheetham. Jonathan Jones and Joe Sedgwick scored for Brighouse. Honley with goals from Zach Ainley (two) and Daniel Colbeck edged past Holmfirth Town 3-2.
In reserve division 1 Dean Siddiq scored two as Berry Brow beat Scholes 2-1 and Fothergill & Whittles beat Shelley 6-3. In division 2 Brook Motors with doubles from Richard Botchway and John Lodge beat Almondbury Woolpack 4-2. Kyle Andrews and Nathan Broadhead scored for the Woolpack.
Hade Edge just lost to Slaithwaite 3-2 in division three despite goals from Thomas Hancock with Slaithwaite’s goals scored by Josh Moore (two) and Dominik Moorhouse.
Cameron Wilkey was on the scoresheet again with four as Grange Moor Saints completely overwhelmed Wooldale Wanderers in a 14-0 win. Michael Hall also scored four, Seth Quesne scored three, Ethan Flynn two and Louis Wilkey rounded off the scoring.
In division 4 a Ronan Greenwood double saw Cumberworth B take the points in a 2-1 win over Fothergill & Whittles A. Brook Motors Development with goals from Gabriel McNae (two) and James Wilkinson (two) drew 4-4 with Hade Edge A, whose goals came from Andrew Daisey, Jolyon Armitage, Ethan McElroy and Ben Dalton.
