Buddy Cox almost snatched a last-gasp winner but Golcar United fight on in FA Cup

Golcar United live to fight another day after they held Trafford FC in their first ever home FA Cup tie on Saturday.

Trafford compete at a higher level but Golcar more than held their own in the Extra Preliminary Round clash and could have won it in the 90th minute when Buddy Cox struck the crossbar.

The two teams will meet in the replay at Trafford on Tuesday (August 8) at 7.45. Trafford FC play at Shawe View Stadium, Urmston, Manchester, M41 5DL.

The winners will travel to either Widnes or Longridge on August 19. That tie also needs a replay.
