Incident management firm FMG has won the Eaton Smith Solicitors Business of the Month Award for November.
Based on the Pennine Business Park in Bradley, the company is a leading provider of incident management and roadside recovery solutions and helps clients reduce incident-related downtime for their vehicles.
FMG now employs over 900 people and focuses on staff wellbeing, engagement, training and personal development.
The award is a testament to FMG’s dedication to delivering excellence, fostering employee engagement and supporting sustainability initiatives.
The award also underscores the company’s ability to navigate complex challenges in the modern business landscape while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction and community impact.
Ben Jackson, partner at Eaton Smith and chair of the judging panel, said: “FMG has demonstrated remarkable innovation, resilience and leadership within their industry.
“Their holistic approach to fleet management and commitment to continuous improvement set them apart as a true leader. It is a pleasure to recognise their achievements with this award.”
Andrew Chandler, managing director at FMG, said: “FMG was launched in humble offices near Huddersfield town centre back in 1986 and as we’ve grown we’ve remained committed to our local roots.
“Whilst we operate UK-wide, all services are delivered by our talented team of over 900 colleagues from our head office in Bradley Business Park.
“We’re committed to delivering outstanding services whilst being a great employer and giving something back to the local community through fundraising partnerships.
“We’re delighted to win this award from Eaton Smith and have our achievements acknowledged by a leading local business.”
The Business of the Month Award is part of the Eaton Smith Business of the Year Awards, designed to celebrate outstanding businesses in the Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield regions.
As a monthly winner, FMG will be considered for the prestigious Business of the Year title, to be announced at a gala ceremony in June 2025.
Ben Jackson chaired the judging panel and was joined by Martin Hathaway (Mid Yorkshire Chamber), Annie Bradley (Department for Business & Trade) and Dave Rolinson (Spawforths).
