Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice in Huddersfield will be opening its doors on Sunday November 24 for Santa, all his friends and you!

This year Forget Me Not’s Christmas Fayre will feature Santa giving gifts in his grotto, some of his friends hiding in the garden, lots of stalls full of fantastic handmade gifts, a tombola, a choir, a brass band, hot chocolate and lots of delicious treats.

Vicky Lough, events manager at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, said: “Over 400 people came to our first ever Christmas Fayre last year, raising over £3,000. So this year we’ve stepped things up with more stalls, more activities and more cake!

“Our Christmas Fayre is a lovely opportunity to welcome people for some Christmas warmth and say a huge thank you for all they’ve done to support us this year.

“We rely on our supporters to help us raise around 90% of the funds we need. It’s also a great chance for people to do a bit of Christmas shopping and get their festivities off to a magical start.

“And every penny raised on the day will help us to support local children and families.”

The event runs from 12noon until 3pm on Sunday November 24 at Russell House, Fell Greave Road, Huddersfield, HD2 1NH. Entry is just £2 per adult and free for kids.
