An expanding Huddersfield estate agency has extended its offices and unveiled an impressive new look.

Whitegates, Huddersfield’s largest lettings agency, has invested in a smart makeover of its offices at the Cherry Tree Centre in Market Street, Huddersfield.

The refurbishment sees the offices increase in size and includes a complete redecoration, a refreshed reception area with new seating and high quality work stations for staff as well as new furniture.

Whitegates Huddersfield, Holmfirth and Brighouse, run and owned by Huddersfield entrepreneur Chan Khangura, manages more than 1,200 properties.

Chan said: “I own the premises next door so we were able to knock through and enlarge the offices. The refurbishment represents a significant investment and ensures our staff, clients and visitors have the best possible environment.

“The new look office is smart, welcoming and professional and that’s what we’re all about as a company.”

Whitegates continues to grow and recently acquired lettings agencies CMK – formerly Chainmakers – and Let Two, and Chan promises there are more to come.

In recent years Chan has also bought long-established Huddersfield agency Whitworths along with Linden Lettings and Easy Lettings Northwest.

Whitegates Huddersfield, Holmfirth and Brighouse has been voted Whitegates No1 office nationally every year since 2016.
