Whitegates team raises £1,700 for Cancer Research UK at Race for Life in Greenhead Park

A team from Huddersfield-based Whitegates Estate Agents raised more than £1,700 for Cancer Research UK.

Staff and family members, led by managing director Chan Khangura, took part in Race for Life at Greenhead Park in Huddersfield.

All the runners completed the 5K run though Chan admitted his legs were a bit “jelly-like” by the end!

“Race for Life is a great event for Huddersfield raising money to help combat a disease that touches so many of our lives,” said Chan.

“One in two people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and all our team knows someone who has been affected by this terrible disease.

“I genuinely delighted and humbled that so many of our staff took part in Race for Life and completed it too.

“We’ve raised more than £1,700 but our fundraising won’t stop there. We’ll certainly be supporting Cancer Research UK again in the future.”
