Third Sector Leaders Kirklees (TSL) has received a national accreditation for its volunteering service.
The Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation demonstrates TSL is providing a quality service to support voluntary, community and social enterprises across Kirklees as well as individuals who want to volunteer.
Volunteer services lead Becky Bracey said: “We are thrilled to receive this nationally-recognised accreditation which gives everyone assurance in the support we offer.
“We are here to help anyone who wants to volunteer in Kirklees and to support the amazing organisations which rely on volunteers to deliver vital activities in our local communities and neighbourhoods.
“We understand the power of volunteering and the importance of offering high quality opportunities which benefit not just the charities and organisations but also the individuals who choose to volunteer.”
As the Volunteer Centre for Kirklees, TSL can support people over the telephone, by email or an in-person appointment at their base in Huddersfield or any library or community venue across Kirklees.
They also have a Volunteer Centre website with over 200 opportunities for people to volunteer in Kirklees, where members of the public can search and apply to volunteer.
