A Huddersfield logistics company The Pink Link is supporting ex-service personnel with employment through the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant.

The covenant is a pledge by businesses and organisations to acknowledge and honour the dedication and sacrifices made by members of the armed forces, both past and present, and their families.

In signing, The Pink Link, a member of the Palletways UK network, demonstrates its dedication to provide support, recognition and opportunities for those who have served or continue to serve their country and pledges to uphold a set of values and principles that will guide its efforts to assist veterans, reservists and their families.

Paul Ince, managing director of The Pink Link, said: “We recognise the unique skills and experiences members of the armed forces community can bring to the workforce and we’re fully committed to offer them meaningful employment opportunities and career development.

“We’re fortunate to employ numerous ex-forces personnel across TPL including Class 1 and Class 2 drivers, all the way up to management positions across our depots.
