Award-winning recruitment agency Stafflex has pledged its support to local community group Pure Elegance Carnival.

The Pure Elegance Carnival is a dynamic and vibrant community initiative that aims to provide a platform for children and young people to learn new skills, meet new people, travel, develop interpersonal skills and confidence whilst accessing carnival arts and culture.

The group consists of over 30 children and young people, primarily from the Ashbrow ward, and ranges in age from eight to 25. Through various activities and performances, the carnival helps participants build self-confidence, develop essential life skills, and nurture their talents.

Each year the group creates costumes for the Caribbean Carnivals in Huddersfield, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham.

Nemi Alexis, senior business development and marketing manager at Stafflex, said: “Our decision to sponsor the Pure Elegance Carnival reflects their dedication to supporting local causes and investing in the future of their community.

“By partnering with this community group, they demonstrate their recognition of the importance of empowering young people and giving them opportunities to grow and thrive.”

Paige Phillip, who runs Pure Elegance, said: “We are absolutely overjoyed to have Stafflex as our proud sponsor for the Pure Elegance Carnival.

“Their generous support enables us to provide even more opportunities for our talented children and young people, inspiring future generations to dream big and achieve greatness.”

The Huddersfield Carnival is taking place on Saturday July 8 at Greenhead Park. More information can be found on their website: www.huddscarnival.com.
