Santa is on the run again to raise cash for Slaithwaite Mutual Aid Food Bank.
James Carter, secretary at Linthwaite Football Club, is midway through a 25-day Santa dash through the Colne Valley.
Every day between November 28 and December 24 James is running the same 10k route from Cowlersley traffic lights to Slaithwaite and back, dressed as Santa.
James’ fundraiser will end on Christmas Eve when he’ll be pushing a shopping trolley along the route collecting food donations as he goes.
Last year the running Santa raised an amazing £3,500 and collected eight trolley loads of food.
Every penny raised will go to the Slaithwaite Mutual Aid Food Bank which helps families in the local community.
If you see Santa out on his dash, please beep your horn, wave at him, spread the word and share the Christmas spirit, helping him to raise much needed funds, helping others in the local community.
