Huddersfield-based recruitment specialists Stafflex have renewed their partnership with Huddersfield Town – for a 15th year.

Founded in 2000 by Brian Stahelin, Stafflex set out with just two staff members and a clear vision to be the first-choice employment agency in Kirklees and Calderdale.

The family-run firm has helped thousands of people find work across West Yorkshire in the industrial, engineering, education and office sectors.

The company signed its first partnership with the Terriers in 2006 and has been a stalwart supporter of the club through thick and thin, with its logo appearing on the first team’s shorts during that spell too.

Stafflex branding will continue to appear around the John Smith’s Stadium on Huddersfield Town match days, as well as in the chairman’s notes in the matchday programme.

Stafflex business development and marketing manager Nemi Alexis, pictured above with club ambassador Andy Booth, said: “We have a long history of supporting Huddersfield Town and we’re extremely proud to continue our partnership this season.

“The club has always been the lifeblood of the town and we consider ourselves a big part of the local community helping people find jobs so we’ve always felt it was a perfect fit.”

Huddersfield Town’s commercial director Ian Birtley said: “We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Stafflex for yet another year.

“They first began their involvement with the club 15 years ago, and it’s great that we’re able to continue working with them year after year.

“It’s fantastic support from Brian and his team, and I’d like to think that their association with Huddersfield Town has helped their business to grow over that period too.

“We’re constantly exploring our community for new businesses who might want to work with the club but it is vitally important that we continue to work with long-standing partners who are real pillars of the community too.”
