A tribute to the Rat Pack is coming to the Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield.
Sixteen-piece Northern Swing Orchestra come to the theatre on Saturday February 5 for a fun-filled evening with their Rat Pack tribute show.
The Leeds-based orchestra was formed in 2019 by Jonathan Wyatt who has over 35 years of experience in the music business, running a big band and entertaining people up and down the country.
Featuring the songs of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr, along with some classic Count Basie tunes, the evening promises to be an event not to be missed.
The show will include some timeless Rat Pack songs such as ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’, ‘Me and My Shadow’ and ‘Ain’t That A Kick In The Head’ along with ‘Flight of the Foo Birds’, ‘Corner Pocket’ and ‘Pennies from Heaven’ to name a few.
Three top vocalists will feature in an event that promises to transport you back to the Rat Pack heyday.
Jonathan said: “We always love the Rat Pack show. The band gets to have a bit of fun on stage and there is very little opportunity in the country to see an authentic line up of all three Rat Pack singers along with a full-sized big band so we are bringing something quite unique to the Lawrence Batley Theatre.”
Tickets are £16, £17.50 and £19.00 and are available from the box office on 01484 430528 or online at https://thelbt.org
