The co-founder of Magic Rock brewery will share the story of how he started and grew the internationally recognised craft brewing brand at a networking event for businesses in the fashion, interior and lifestyle industries.
Huddersfield-based businessman, Richard Burhouse, will be the guest speaker at the third FILClub event at The 3 Acres in Shelley on Wednesday October 4.
Richard will share the story of Magic Rock’s success – including how the brand grew from a humble site in Huddersfield into one of the UK’s leading craft breweries – in a question and answer session at the event.
He will also share advice and knowledge to support businesses on their growth journey, and an insight into the reality of life along the way.
The FILClub was launched in April by Huddersfield-based PR and marketing communications consultant and former fashion brand manager, Alex Mason.
Alex explained: “The FILClub brings together energetic, enthusiastic business owners, bosses, founders and experts in an informal, upbeat, knowledge-filled space.
“Whether it’s an independent clothing brand, interior design studio, architect, coffee shop – or anything in between – The FILClub brings these businesses together to meet, learn from one another and generate business opportunities.
“Our quarterly events are centred around a great venue, good food and a welcoming crowd, and a guest expert who reveals the story of their brand or career and offers insight and advice in our Q&A session.
“I’m so pleased Richard has agreed to be our guest expert at The 3 Acres as his business background is incredible, and I know everyone who hears him speak will learn a lot from his success and time with Magic Rock.”
