BrockFest was a huge success – and organisers are already planning for BrockFest 2025.
Hundreds of people enjoyed the music, food, drink and family fun at Brockholes Rec on Saturday.
The event, sponsored by local components company Accu, was held for the second time and a great time was had by all!
Organiser Clr Tony McGrath said: “I was overwhelmed with the number of both adults and children enjoying themselves. The feedback has been nothing but positive and it gives me and the team of volunteers the motivation to do it all again next year.
“A huge thank you to all the sponsors for their donations but a special mention to Accu who donated a substantial amount as our main sponsor to make sure the festival could be bigger and better this year.
“I would also like to thank the local residents for supporting us, whether that was by bringing cups of tea whilst putting the festival together, turning up and enjoying it or helping us with the clean up on the Sunday.
“This festival can’t go ahead without the volunteers so a massive shout out has to go to them but especially Chris and Rachael Davidson who worked their socks off the entire way through, from setting up on the Friday to take down on Sunday afternoon.
“I can’t wait to do it all again next year on Saturday August 30 2025 for an even bigger and better BrockFest!”
