A five-star first half show saw Golcar United put bottom club Yorkshire Amateur to the sword.
Kayle Price scored a hat-trick inside the first 45 minutes to take his tally for the season to 29. There were goals too from Slater Barnes and Max Leonard as the Weavers went in at half-time 5-0 up. Amateurs grabbed two second half goals to make the final score a more respectable 5-2.
The win moves Golcar up to ninth in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division with one match to go. A win or a draw in the final game at Barton Town on Monday April 17 (7.45) will see them finish eighth in their first season at this level.
