Huddersfield Crown Green Junior Bowling players have now received all their club branded gear – and don’t they look super smart?
With support from the Huddersfield bowling community and the One Community Match It fund, all the Junior teams now have their own jacks, measures and mats. Current players have all received branded shirts too.
Huddersfield Juniors president Michael Haigh delivered the new club shirts to all the junior clubs.
The association now has 73 under-16 bowlers registered so far this season and 12 under-18 bowlers registered. The target is to have over 100 junior bowlers registered before the start of the 2022 season.
The committee is hoping to recruit more players as soon as lockdown restrictions allow and recruitment events are planned at local clubs within the Huddersfield district.
Any clubs interested in hosting a recruitment event should contact junior secretary Geoff Martin on 07527 681325 or email geoffrey.martin@ntlworld.com
