It was a real nailbiter for Huddersfield Giants fans in the impressive surroundings of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Giants’ Challenge Cup Final clash with Wigan Warriors ebbed and flowed and the Giants were ahead and less than three minutes away from lifting the trophy for the first time in 69 years.
But it was heartbreak for the Giants as Liam Marshall pounced in the corner to snatch glory and seal a 16-14 victory for the Warriors.
The Giants couldn’t have given any more and the fans had a day to remember even if they didn’t get to bring silverware back to the John Smith’s Stadium.
