After the success of Tim Firth’s ‘Sheila’s Island’, the Huddersfield Thespians return to Longwood Mechanics Hall with a festive treat from December 11. Expect more laughs, more characters and more Victoria Wood!
This December, the Thespians will be reliving the spirit of Christmases past by recreating the best of British TV comedy of the last 60 years. They’ve got sketches, songs and a bar!
‘Christmas Comedy Crackers’ is a chance to see some of your favourites performed live – and we all know comedy’s best when it’s live.
With sketches and songs from the likes of Monty Python, the Two Ronnies, Victoria Wood, Fascinating Aida and Joyce Grenfell, ‘Christmas Comedy Crackers’ is sure to appeal to all tastes, in a rib-tickling reminder of Christmases past.
So fight off a cold winter evening with the warm glow of laughter, nostalgia and good company. Bring your works Christmas party!
‘Christmas Comedy Crackers’ runs from December 11-14, starting at 7.30pm Wednesday to Friday, then a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday December 14.
The show is suitable for ages 15 and upwards and tickets at £12 for adults and £10 for young people aged 15-18 are available on the door and through Ticketsource at www.ticketsource.co.uk/Huddersfield-Thespians.
