Huddersfield’s popular international market returns to the town centre this week.

The event in New Street will run from Thursday October 3 to Sunday October 6 with food, crafts, gifts and products from around the world.

Kirklees Council, in partnership with Market Place (Europe), will bring more than 25 traders to town, running the length of New Street.

Over the four days visitors to Huddersfield International Market will find something for all tastes.

Clr Carole Pattison, leader of Kirklees Council and Cabinet member for culture, said: “The international market is always a popular event, and we’re excited to welcome it back to Kirklees for the second time this year.

“The market, with its unique range of goods from different countries, will complement the shopping offer in Huddersfield and give people even more of a reason to visit the town centre.”

Opening hours will be from 10am to 5pm on Thursday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm Sunday.
