The North’s leading independent choir will perform the audience favourite Mozart’s Requiem at Huddersfield Town Hall on Saturday March 16.
Enjoy a spellbinding evening of choral music from Mozart, Hildegard van Bingen, Byrd, Williams and more, all celebrating the growing light as spring arrives.

Huddersfield Choral Society (HCS), the pioneering orchestra Manchester Camerata and four internationally renowned soloists join together for this special evening of exceptional music.
HCS will take on one of the great choral masses in Mozart’s Requiem, the work is a powerful and beautiful all-time audience favourite across the world, with pieces from it being featured in popular TV shows like The Crown.
HCS conductor for this performance, Ellie Slorach, said: “We’re performing this amazing canonic work in the second half but in the first half we’re introducing a lot of new music and new sound worlds.
“So I hope that for anyone who comes along, whether they’ve never heard Mozart’s Requiem before or whether they’ve heard it 100 times, they will hear something new and exciting at this concert.”
