Hoot creative arts, in collaboration with the University of Huddersfield and supported by Kirklees Council, are hosting a special event, Speak Our Music, as part of the Great Get Together weekend.
This event aims to bring together communities in a celebration of music and to discuss the positive impact it has on mental health and wellbeing.
Speak Our Music is set to take place tomorrow (Tuesday, June 27th, 2023), from 6pm to 8pm at the Jo Cox More In Common Centre, located on the University of Huddersfield campus. It is one of the first events to be held at the newly opened centre.
The June edition of Speak Our Music will be led by the talented rap artist, Wilko Wilkes, with a special guest appearance by Andy’s Man Club.
This month’s event will focus on the theme of men’s mental health, encouraging attendees of all genders to participate in discussions and share their experiences.

Free tickets are available online from via Hoot creative arts and the Kirklees Year of Music websites. Complimentary food and drink will be provided.
