Following their hugely successful ‘Songs from the Musicals’ at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Honley Male Voice Choir is going on tour with three free concerts.

Taking its inspiration from the theatre show, ‘Magic of the Musicals’ will be performed at three parish churches.

All three concerts are free to attend with refreshments, a raffle and retiring collection to raise money for the respective church funds and the choir.

‘Magic of the Musicals’ is at St John’s Church, Lepton, on Friday September 20 (7.15pm); Huddersfield Parish Church in Huddersfield town centre on Friday October 4 (7.15pm); and St Mary’s Parish Church, Mirfield, on Friday November 1 (7.15pm).

Conductor Steven Roberts said: “Join Honley Male Voice Choir as we sing songs from some of the best loved musicals.

“Spread the news, grab your family and friends and join us at any (or all!) of these free community concerts. Let’s make some musical magic together!”

Accompanist will be Catherine Hall-Smith and a few surprise performers are promised too.

No booking is necessary, just turn up on the door on the night.
