Christmas isn’t Christmas without a Honley Male Voice Choir concert at Huddersfield Town Hall.
After missing out last year Christmas with Honley is back at the Town Hall on Saturday December 11 (3pm start).
Conductor Steven Roberts said: “Christmas happens only once a year but for Honley Male Voice Choir it didn’t happen at all in 2020.
“Like all other choirs we were silenced last year and went online. We are so excited to be returning to the magnificent Huddersfield Town Hall and to welcome our guests the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band and the Rastrick High School Chamber Choir.
“Being online kept our singing community together and connected but the joy we all felt when we were finally able to sing together was so emotional.
“Being back at the Town Hall and in front of our supporters really will be quite special. We are also so pleased that some of our new members will be making their debut appearance, so we wish them well.”
The choir has also partnered with The Turntable Vinyl Cafe on New Street, Huddersfield, and on presentation of a concert ticket, concert-goers will receive a free mince pie and pouring cream with every purchased hot drink.
Steven added: “Don’t forget the concert starts at 3pm so there’s plenty of time to get home for the Strictly semi-final! We look forward to seeing you all.”
Tickets from £8.50 plus concessions are available from the Town Hall Box Office by ringing 01484 225755, www.kirkleestownhalls.co.uk or tickets will be available on the day.
