Holmfirth Choral Society is staging a performance of Handel’s Messiah in All Hallows’ Church in Kirkburton on Saturday November 19 at 3.30pm.

It’s believed it’s the first time All Hallows’ in Huddersfield Road, Kirkburton, has hosted a performance of The Messiah.

Holmfirth Choral Society will be performing with the Valley Sinfonia and soloists Julia Morley (soprano), Rebecca Waterhouse (contralto), Chris Why (tenor) and Daniel Sumner (bass). The musical director is Geoffrey Lockwood.
