Huddersfield BID is reflecting the festive spirit in the run-up to Christmas with its Super Saturdays street entertainment.
Every Saturday until Christmas, street entertainers will be in the town centre engaging with shoppers and posing for selfies.
On Saturday December 10 watch out for the Mirror Men who will be handing out free finger lights to children.
The ‘Naughty Little Elfers’ were in town on the last Saturday in November and two Giant Gingerbread characters joined BID’s Christmas market last Sunday.
The Mirror Men will be in town on December 10 followed by fire performers and stilt walkers on December 17.
Huddersfield BID manager Sam Sharp said the street entertainers had been well-received by traders and shoppers alike and added: “It really adds to the festive spirit and atmosphere in town and people love engaging with them.
“It’s great to see people smiling and we want families to enjoy coming into Huddersfield not just in the run-up to Christmas but throughout the year as well.”
